UPDATE 2/20/19
TiKTok in all their glorious wisdom has removed the “Other” selection when you click “Report a Problem” This means there is no way to send them a message to complain that you can not connect your YouTube account.

As it stands we are DEAD IN THE WATER with this issue.

This fast tutorial will explain how to fix the TikTok “Couldn’t Add” prompt when trying to connect your YouTube account to the application. The solution is much easier than you might think.

The problem resides at TikTok and not at YouTube. Just send a support message to TikTok and all problems will vanish within 12 to 24 hours.
