As a default Godaddy sets up their shard Linux hosting to not work with email from the domain your website uses. This setup, in my opinion, is insane. It’s like setting up your hosting to not show images as a default. Godaddy never ceases to amaze me with how complicated they are. Simply put, they DRIVE ME NUTS with some of their practices. Anyway, the reason why your email forms won’t work is that the system is automatically set up not to work. You have to make a quick little adjustment to make it function.

Log into your Godaddy account and select “My Products.” Then you will be presented with a bunch of stuff simply click “Manage” next to “Ultimate Hosting with CPANEL.” Now click the green “CPANEL Admin” button. Now select “MX Entry” now select the radio button for “Remote Mail Exchanger” and click the green “Change” button.

Your good to go! Because this is an MX record, it will take an up to 90 minutes for the change to take place. Blame for this delay should not be placed on the shoulders of Godaddy. It’s not their fault. Its a DNS type change and the update must be sent to all servers around the world. It takes time, and there’s no way around the delay.
